Pricing for all services below varies depending on the manuscript length, proposed timeline, type(s) of edits, and your financial circumstances. I love working with writers of all backgrounds: underprivileged and low-income writers are welcome, and I will take your circumstances into account when calculating cost.

Structural edits are often the first stage of editing and focus primarily on the overall structure, story/plot, and flow of the piece.

Revision & Reports

Sometimes what is needed for a written piece is revision, advice, and constructive criticism. A reader's report or a structural report are great documents that advise the direction of the manuscript from a reader's and/or structural perspective. The report varies in length, but can be anywhere between 3,000-8,000 words.

Copyediting & Proofreading

Copyediting gets to the nitty gritty of a piece; it questions everything, fact-checks, helps with sentence structure, and makes the prose smoother and easier to read. Proofreading takes no prisoners, corrects all hard errors, and makes a written piece as error-free as possible.
