Everything Storytelling

I am a creative practitioner with a deep love for storytelling in all its diverse forms. Whether through written word in prose, poetry, songwriting, or scripts for stage or screen, I find my greatest joy in weaving narratives that connect with people on a profound level. I've worked in all these fields and draw from all of these experiences for my multiple forms of storytelling.

Publishing

I've been Jacaranda Journal's Publisher and Editor in Chief since the beginning of 2025, and served as a sub-editor prior. I am also a former copyeditor and later as a member of the Editorial Board for ScratchThat Magazine. I've had the privilege of overseeing a dedicated team of 20+ talented creative practitioners, and meticulously selected, edited, and produced a wide array of written pieces for publication. This experience not only honed my copyediting and editorial skills but also allowed me to learn what proper leadership looks like, becoming a valuable chapter of my career in publishing.

I embarked on my journey as an actor at the age of five and have remained deeply immersed in theatre, screen acting, and film for most of my life. My multifaceted experience includes not only performing in front of the camera but also working behind the scenes. From screenwriting and editing to writing prose with a cinematic flair, my diverse practice has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of what makes a good story across all mediums.

Live Reading

I served as the co-president of the QUT Literary Salon. I played a pivotal role in organizing, hosting, and nurturing emerging creatives in our vibrant literary community. Doing live readings, I discovered how precious they are for young creatives. Through this role, I had the opportunity to curate and facilitate engaging literary gatherings that provided a platform for aspiring writers to showcase their talents and connect with fellow literature enthusiasts and published authors. It was an enriching experience, fostering creativity and camaraderie within our community.
